Money Time streams around the clock from Pragmatic Play's studio in Bucharest, Romania, where a host stands beside a vertical wheel divided into 54 numbered and bonus segments. Players place chips before each spin, the wheel turns, and a pointer marks the winning segment. Pragmatic Play launched the game on 24 September 2025, against Evolution's long-running money-wheel shows.

What sets Money Time apart from most wheel games is the Betspot Booster above the wheel: a two-reel mini-slot that locks in one bet spot and a multiplier before every spin, sometimes coming up blank. When the wheel result matches the Booster's spot, that multiplier applies.

Two things to know before your first chip: it is a live video stream of a physical wheel, not a random number generator dressed up as one, and every one of the eight bet spots carries a house edge that no betting sequence removes.

What does the Money Time screen show?

The layout has five working parts once you know where to look.

The wheel. Centred on screen, 54 segments grouped by colour: the "1" segments make up nearly half the wheel, then "2", "5" and "10" in decreasing counts, and four distinctly styled bonus segments for Cash Roll, Bank Heist, Coin Rush and Money Time. A fixed pointer marks the result once the wheel stops.

The Betspot Booster. Positioned above the wheel. Its two reels spin just before the main wheel does: the left reel names a bet spot, the right reel shows a multiplier between 2x and 50x, or sometimes nothing lands at all and the Booster sits out the round.

The bet grid. Along the bottom of the screen: eight spots for 1, 2, 5, 10, Cash Roll, Bank Heist, Coin Rush and Money Time, with a chip selector beside it. Tap a chip value, then tap a spot to place it; Undo, Double and Repeat controls sit next to the grid for quick adjustments between rounds.

The betting timer. A countdown appears once betting opens and shortens visibly as it approaches zero. Once it hits zero, no more chips can be placed and the Booster reels begin turning.

How does a round of Money Time work?

Every round runs through the same sequence, roughly 45 to 50 seconds from one settlement to the next: betting opens as soon as the prior round pays out, stakes are commonly 0.10 up to several thousand per spot though limits vary by operator, and you can cover one spot or all eight. Once the timer closes, the Betspot Booster's two reels settle on a spot and a multiplier, or return blank, before the host spins the 54-segment wheel to a stop. Numbers pay out immediately at their fixed ratio, boosted if the Booster matched. A bonus result switches the broadcast to that bonus game only for players who covered the spot; everyone else watches it resolve. What are the Money Time bet spots and what do they pay?

The wheel's 54 segments are split unevenly across eight spots. Number bets pay a fixed ratio; bonus bets pay whatever multiplier that bonus round produces.

Payout ratios read "to one": a 10 chip on the 1 spot returns 10 plus your stake, 20 back in total. The same chip on 10 returns 100 plus stake. Bonus bets return your stake multiplied by whatever the bonus round settles on, and that can be as small as a couple of times your stake or, rarely, in the hundreds or thousands.

Any one of the four bonus spots comes up on 9 of 54 segments, meaning a bonus of some kind hits on 16.67% of spins, roughly one round in six. What is the Betspot Booster and how does it work?

The Betspot Booster is the two-reel mini-slot above the wheel, and it is the mechanic that separates Money Time from a plain money wheel. Before every spin it draws one bet spot and, if it doesn't come up blank, a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x or 50x.

If the wheel then lands on that exact spot, the multiplier applies. On a number, it multiplies the payout directly, so a 10 spot hit with a matched 50x Booster pays 500x. Inside a bonus round, a matched Booster multiplies the bonus's own values, how Bank Heist reaches its 40,000x cap from an 800x base result.

The Booster does not land evenly across the eight spots. Over our last 90 tracked days, the reels picked the Money Time spot most often at 15.0%, followed by "2" and Bank Heist at 14.2% each, with "10" picked least at 8.1%. How do the four bonus rounds work?

Each bonus has a distinct mechanic, and two of them settle the same way for everyone while two give each player an individual result.

Cash Roll. Six golden briefcases sit on the set, each holding a multiplier. The host rolls a die numbered one to six, and the matching briefcase opens to reveal the multiplier paid to every player who bet on Cash Roll. It is the most frequent bonus at 4 segments, and tends to produce the smallest results of the four.

Bank Heist. Sixteen numbered balls correspond to sixteen deposit boxes on set, drawn one at a time. Each opened box reveals either a cash multiplier, which ends the round and pays everyone who bet on it, or a boost that raises the value of the boxes still unopened. It is the only bonus capable of reaching Money Time's 40,000x maximum win, requiring the top base result plus a matched 50x Betspot Booster.

Coin Rush. An 8x8 grid of 64 coins is revealed, each hiding a multiplier or one of five bonus boosters. Every player who bet on Coin Rush picks their own coin, so results differ player to player in the same round.

Money Time. The headline vault bonus, reached through a door on the set. Players choose a colour, red, green or blue, and three coloured reels spin, each landing on its own multiplier, with up to three re-spins adding further value. Like Coin Rush, the result is individual to whichever colour each player picked.

Which Money Time rules trip up beginners?

A short list of rules accounts for most of the confusion new players run into.

You must have bet on a bonus to take part in it. If the wheel stops on Bank Heist and your chips are on 1 and 5, you watch the balls drop and win nothing from it.

The Betspot Booster only counts when it matches. The reels might show "Coin Rush, 20x", but if the wheel then lands on 2, that 20x applies to nothing.

Bonus multipliers are usually modest. Cash Roll in particular tends to settle for a single-digit or low double-digit multiplier most of the time; assuming every bonus round is a big win is a common beginner mistake.

There is a maximum payout per round. Pragmatic Play's rules cap Money Time at 40,000x, reached only through Bank Heist with a matched 50x Booster, and operators may apply their own lower cash caps on top of that.

In-game choices have their own timers. Picking a coin in Coin Rush or a colour in the Money Time vault has to happen inside a short window; miss it and the game assigns one automatically while your bet still stands.

The 1 spot covers 23 of the wheel's 54 segments, more coverage than any other spot on the board, and the 2 spot adds another 11. Betting a small amount on one bonus spot is a reasonable way to see a bonus round in action, since you cannot play one you have not covered.
