RTP, or return to player, is the share of total stakes a bet gives back over a very long run. At 96.23%, every 100 units wagered on the 2 spot returns about 96.23 units and leaves 3.77 with the house. That 3.77 is the house edge.
Three fixed elements set the RTP: the 54-segment wheel layout, the payout for each outcome, and the prize distribution inside the board bonus. The order is unusual. In most Evolution wheel games the most common segment carries the best RTP. Here the 2 and 10 spots are the value bets, the bonuses sit in the middle, and the 1 and 5 spots, the two most obvious "safe" choices, are the worst.
The spread matters. Between the 2 spot and the 5 spot there are 4.93 percentage points, far wider than in Crazy Time. Over 1,000 spins at 10 units each, the expected loss is about 377 units on the 2 bet, 398 on 10, 610 on either bonus, 712 on 1 and 870 on 5. Two players at the same table can face house edges that differ by more than a factor of two.

Why do the 1 and 5 bets have such a low RTP?
Because their payouts are set below what their frequency would justify, and Chance multipliers do not lift them far enough. The mechanics are simple once you separate the base payout from the multiplier top-up.
Take the 5 spot. It covers 7 of 54 segments, so it wins 12.96% of spins and pays 5:1. A win returns six units including the stake, so the base return is 6 times 7 divided by 54, which is 77.8%. The same arithmetic gives 83.3% for the 2 spot and 81.5% for both 10 and 1.
Those base figures all sit well below the published RTPs. The difference is Chance cash cards and multiplied re-spins, and that extra value is not spread in proportion to each spot's shortfall. The 2 and 10 spots end up at 96%, the 1 spot at 92.88%, and the 5 spot at 91.30%.

Why do the bonus bets sit at 93.90%?
Because they trade frequency for size, and the board prizes are tuned so that the average bonus returns a little less per unit than the best number bets. 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls share the same 93.90% RTP even though 4 Rolls is three times rarer, which tells you the 4 Rolls prize distribution is roughly three times as generous on average.

The gap between median and average matters. A 2 Rolls bonus typically pays 11x, but the average that carries the RTP is 14.6x because results like the 320x maximum pull the mean up. The 1 spot wins about four spins in ten, the 2 spot just under three in ten, and a bet on 4 Rolls wins once in 54 spins on average. There is no bet spot for Chance; when it lands, every bet on the table shares the result.

How does Chance change the expected value?
Chance does not add to the published RTP; it is already inside it. What Chance decides is how much of each bet's return comes from flat payouts and how much from multiplied re-spins.
When one of the two Chance segments lands, Mr Monopoly reveals a card. A cash card pays a fixed prize to every bet on the table and the round ends. A multiplier card triggers a re-spin, and the multiplier applies to whatever lands next; a second Chance multiplier stacks on the first. The Chance row needs explaining, because on its own it looks like a wheel missing more than half its Chance segments. It is not. Our feed records the final outcome of each round, not every landing. When Chance lands and shows a cash card, the round ends there and is logged as "Chance". When Chance shows a multiplier card, the wheel is re-spun and the round is logged under whatever the re-spin produced: a 1, a 2, a 10, a bonus. The Chance segment did land, but the record shows the re-spun result instead.
So the 1.42% we observe is roughly the share of rounds where Chance produced a cash prize. The multiplier landings are folded into the other rows, which is also why every number and bonus row sits slightly above theory instead of scattering evenly around it: the re-spun rounds inflate each by a fraction of the missing 2.28 points. One more caveat. Segment frequencies confirm the wheel is unbiased; they do not confirm the exact RTP, which also depends on Chance cards and board prizes we cannot audit from outside. Why "live RTP" and "best time to play" are not signals
Searches for "monopoly live rtp today" and "best hours for monopoly live" assume the return drifts through the day in a way you can catch. It does not. A single spin returns 91-96% in expectation and almost never in outcome: on a number bet you either lose the stake or collect a multiple of it. Averaged over 100 spins, the return still swings by tens of percentage points because one Chance multiplier or one 4 Rolls bonus dominates the sample. Even our 90-day sample of 85,861 rounds is not large enough to pin the 4 Rolls average to the decimal.
A "live RTP" of 110% over the last hour means one thing: a big result happened recently. It says nothing about the next hour, because every spin is an independent draw from the same wheel.
