What is inside a Monopoly Live round record?

A round record holds four things: the segment the wheel stopped on, the multiplier the round paid, the bonus result if a board round happened, and the time the feed reported it.

For the number segments the multiplier is usually the face value, 1x, 2x, 5x or 10x. For 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls it is the combined multiplier Mr Monopoly collected walking the board, after the host has placed houses and hotels, after any doubles have added rolls, and after a pass of GO has doubled the prizes. So a 4 Rolls row that reads 619x is a finished board, not a starting position.

Chance is where the record needs care. Mr Monopoly's card is either cash or a multiplier. Cash settles the round on the spot and the row says Chance. A multiplier does not settle anything: the wheel spins again, the multiplier is applied to the new result, and that new result is what the feed reports. Our table therefore has no row for the Chance that started the sequence; it has a row for, say, 5 paying 20x, which is a Chance 4x followed by a re-spin onto 5. A second Chance on the re-spin stacks the multipliers and spins once more, which is how a 1 has paid 100x in our data.

Which panel answers which question?

The drought tracker counts spins since each bonus last hit and sets that against the average and the longest gap on record. A long current gap is a statement about the past. 4 Rolls has a 1.85% chance on the next spin regardless of whether the count reads 3 or 300.

The probability calculator takes a segment and a spin count and returns the chance of at least one hit in that span from the fixed odds. Hot and cold lists which segments ran above or below expectation recently; the streak detector flags repeated results and bonus-free runs; the pattern finder looks for repeating sequences. All three are descriptions of noise. The heatmap by hour and day shows round volume and bonus frequency by UTC hour and weekday. Volume is genuine information; bonus frequency by hour is scatter around 7.41%.

What do the last 90 days say about the wheel?

Six of seven segments landed within about one percentage point of Evolution's published frequencies across 85,861 rounds, and the seventh, Chance, is low for a reason that has nothing to do with the wheel.

The pattern in the gap column is not random. Everything except Chance is at or above theory, and Chance is 2.28 points short. About 2.3% of rounds began on a Chance multiplier, got re-spun, and were counted under the segment the re-spin produced, which is where the surplus on the other rows comes from. The combined bonus frequency, 2 Rolls plus 4 Rolls, should be 4 in 54 or 7.41%. Observed over 90 days it is 7.37%. Chance plus bonus together should be 11.11% of spins; the tracker cannot show that figure directly because of the re-spin effect, which is a limitation worth knowing before comparing our numbers against Evolution's rules.

How much does a board bonus actually pay?

Half of all 2 Rolls bonuses in the last 90 days paid 11x or less, and half of all 4 Rolls bonuses paid 29x or less.

The average sits well above the median in both rows because a small number of huge boards pull it up. For 4 Rolls, nine bonuses in ten finished at 101x or below. The 1,200x on 2026-07-17 was the only round in 85,861 to clear 1,000x. The next largest 4 Rolls results were 712x on 2026-06-12, 628x on 2026-08-09, 619x on 2026-08-12 and 525x on 2026-08-18. Rounds paying at least 100x numbered 230 in the window, 0.27% of all rounds.

Evolution notes that bonus multipliers can reach four figures, and the July board proves it, but the highest multipliers panel exists mainly to show how thin the tail is. The RTP page explains how these payouts combine with the 1:1, 2:1, 5:1 and 10:1 number payouts to produce returns of 96.23% on the 2 spot down to 91.30% on the 5 spot.

Why does Chance read 1.42% instead of 3.70%?

Because the feed records where a round finished, and a round never finishes on a Chance multiplier.

Two Chance segments out of 54 should stop the wheel on 3.70% of spins. Cash cards end the round and are stored as Chance. Multiplier cards trigger a re-spin, the multiplier rides on whatever comes next, and the feed reports that final segment with the enlarged payout. If the re-spin lands Chance again the multipliers multiply together before another spin. The 1.42% we observe is the cash-card share alone.

Reading the tracker with this in mind, the Chance row of the segment statistics will always look cold, and hot and cold will always list it on the cold side. Neither is evidence of anything. The multiplier column carries the trace of the re-spun Chance rounds instead: our observed ceilings are 100x on the 1 segment, 200x on 2 and on 5, and 160x on 10, all of them Chance multipliers riding on a re-spin. Can droughts, hot segments or patterns tell me what comes next?

No. Each spin is independent of every spin before it, so the drought tracker, hot and cold, streak detector and pattern finder describe history and nothing else.

The 4 Rolls drought is the clearest example. One segment in 54 gives an expected gap of about 54 spins; the tracker measured 57 on average. At its worst in the last 90 days the segment stayed away for 438 spins, close to eight average gaps stacked end to end. A gap that long is unlikely on any single attempt and almost certain to appear somewhere in 85,861 spins, which is the same reason a 158-spin gap turned up for 2 Rolls despite its 18-spin average. When the drought counter reads 400, it is reporting a long wait, not a rising probability. Treating a long wait as a rising probability is the gambler's fallacy, and it costs Monopoly Live players more than any other mistake.

Hot segments are the mirror image. A 2 that landed on 32% of the last 200 spins instead of 27.78% is a sample that ran high. Extend the window and the excess fades, not because the wheel pushes back but because more spins at the true rate swamp the early bump. The deviation column shows this happening: a 24-hour window wobbles by a point or two per segment, a 90-day window settles inside a point.

The panels are still worth reading. Knowing that 4 Rolls can vanish for 400 spins lets a player budget for the wait rather than chase it, and that is the only use of a drought figure that pays.

What does the tracker offer that the game client does not?

Depth of history. The Evolution client shows a short bar of recent results and a small frequency view; the tracker holds everything back to December 2025 and lets you cut it by window and bonus type.

The client view is fine for checking the last hour. It cannot say whether a segment's share is unusual, how long a typical 4 Rolls wait runs, what a median 2 Rolls pays, or which hours are busiest, because each of those needs thousands of rounds. On the tracker the window can be 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or all time, and the heatmap and drought figures recalculate for whichever you pick.

Two things the tracker does not know. It records the multiplier the feed reports, which reflects the round outcome and not your stake or any operator payout ceiling; Evolution's published maximum is 500,000 per player per round, operator dependent, and the multiplier column is blind to it. And there can be a lag of a few minutes between the studio and our database.

Where does the data fall short?

In three places: feed gaps, the Chance re-spin effect, and operator caps.

Feed gaps come from collector restarts, feed outages and network faults. Rounds lost that way stay lost; we do not estimate them, so a day's round count can undershoot the studio's true count. A 24-hour total that looks thin is far more likely a gap than a quiet table, since the wheel never stops. Gaps are random with respect to outcomes, so they do not tilt the long-run shares.

The Chance re-spin effect is structural and constant: Chance is understated, the other six segments are slightly overstated, and the combined Chance-plus-bonus rate cannot be read off the tracker. Operator caps are invisible to the multiplier column, which reports the board result rather than what any individual player was paid.
