Core Game Rules
Objective
Beat the dealer by getting a hand value closer to 21 without exceeding it (busting).
Number of Decks
Speed Blackjack uses 8 standard decks of 52 cards, shuffled together.
Dealer Rules
The dealer must stand on all 17s (including soft 17). Dealer checks for blackjack when showing an Ace or 10-value card.
Blackjack Payout
A natural blackjack (Ace + 10-value card) pays 3:2 (1.5x your bet).
Speed-Specific Rules
First-to-Act System
Unlike traditional blackjack where players act in seat order, the first player to make a decision goes first. This is the core rule that makes Speed Blackjack unique.
Parallel Play
All players can act simultaneously. Once you stand, the next card for hitting players is dealt immediately - you don't wait.
Decision Timer
Players have limited time to make decisions. If time expires, your hand automatically stands.
