What does a Lightning Baccarat hand record contain?

Each record stores the winner, both hands' cards and scores, Player Pair and Banker Pair flags, the full list of Lightning Cards with their multipliers, and whether the winning hand contained one of them.

A baccarat hand produces up to six physical cards plus up to five virtual Lightning Cards, and the payout depends on how those two lists intersect, so the collector keeps everything. From that one row the page can answer questions like "did the 8x Lightning Card land in the losing hand" that a winner-only feed could not.

One field deserves a caveat, because it trips up anyone who exports the raw data. The multiplier column in the feed stores the highest single Lightning Card multiplier that hit the winning hand, so its maximum is 8. It does not store the stacked product. A hand where two 8x cards both landed in the winning hand paid 64x, but the raw column reads 8. Every stacked figure quoted on this page and on the live tracker's multiplier panel is recomputed from the card lists, by multiplying the multipliers of every Lightning Card found in the winning hand (or in either hand for a Tie).

The scale of the dataset, as of 2026-08-28: 287,800 hands in total, 54,518 in the last 30 days, 111,328 in the last 90. Evolution's Riga studio deals a hand every 30 to 40 seconds around the clock, and each one appears on the page within a few minutes.

Which panels are on the live page, and what does each answer?

The page has six panels: the results strip, Player/Banker/Tie shares, streaks and roads, Lightning multiplier stats, pair frequency, and the drought tracker. Each one describes a different slice of past hands.

Results strip. Newest hands first. Each tile shows the winner, both scores, whether a natural or pair occurred, the Lightning Cards drawn and, if one hit, the stacked multiplier the winning bet received. Use it to confirm what you just watched.

Player/Banker/Tie shares. The share of hands won by each side in the selected window, alongside the eight-deck theoretical share. The gap between the two columns is the closest thing to a fairness check the page offers, and over long windows it is tiny (table in the next section).

Streaks and roads. A bead-style road of recent winners, plus the longest current and historical runs of Banker, Player and Tie. This is the panel baccarat players go to first, and it is also the one most prone to misreading, which gets its own section below.

Lightning multiplier stats. How many Lightning Cards were drawn per hand, how often one of them landed in the winning hand, and the distribution of stacked multipliers actually paid. This is the panel that explains why the 20% fee feels expensive most of the time.

Pair frequency. How often Player Pair and Banker Pair have come up against the 7.47% theory, plus the rate of naturals.

Drought tracker. Hands since the last Tie, the last Player Pair, the last Banker Pair, and the last hand where the winning side carried a Lightning Card, each compared with its average gap.

How do Player, Banker and Tie shares compare with theory?

Across 111,328 hands in the last 90 days, Banker won 46.03%, Player 44.66% and Tie 9.30%, against eight-deck theory of 45.86%, 44.62% and 9.52%. Every gap is under a third of a percentage point.

Banker's edge over Player comes entirely from the third-card rules, which favor the side that draws last. Evolution's 5% commission on Banker (paid at 0.95:1) offsets that edge, which is why Player and Banker share the same 98.76% theoretical return under the Lightning fee. Tie's 9.30% observed share is a touch below its 9.52% theory, a 0.22 point gap in a sample of over 100,000 hands, which is the sort of deviation that shrinks further the longer the window runs.

The Lightning Cards leave these shares untouched: they are drawn from a separate virtual deck and only change what a winning bet pays, never which side wins.

What do the roads and streak detector actually show?

They show the sequence of past winners and the lengths of runs inside it, which in a game of independent hands is a description and not a forecast.

Baccarat culture is built on roads. The bead road lists winners in order; the big road groups consecutive wins by the same side into columns; the derived roads look for repetition in the big road. The longest Banker or Player runs in 287,800 hands are long, as they must be: a Banker run of 8 or more has roughly a 0.2% chance from any starting hand (0.4586 raised to the eighth power), and 287,800 starting hands give that 0.2% event thousands of chances to occur.

A descriptive reading (how choppy the shoe has been) is fine. A predictive reading (a run must continue, or must break) is not. Each hand is dealt from the cards remaining in the shoe under fixed drawing rules, and nothing in the previous columns of the road changes the composition of those cards in a way a player could use, especially since the 20% fee dwarfs any card-counting edge, a point the strategy page covers in detail.

Read the roads as a random walk with a slight Banker bias. The runs look meaningful because human eyes are built to find them.

How often does a Lightning Card land in the winning hand?

In 14.94% of hands over the last 90 days: 16,663 of 111,328. The remaining 85.03% paid the plain rate, with a small residual accounted for by rounding.

The draw itself is generous. Evolution deals 1 to 5 Lightning Cards per round, and our count shows 3 cards was the most common outcome (34.0%), then 4 cards (30.0%), 2 cards (23.0%), 5 cards (8.9%) and 1 card (4.0%), for an average of 3.17 per hand. But a Lightning Card only pays if the same rank and suit is dealt from the physical shoe into the hand that wins. Eight decks contain eight copies of each card, the winning hand holds two or three cards, and the match has to happen on the winning side. That funnels 3.17 drawn cards per round down to a 14.94% hit rate.

What multipliers do winning hands actually receive?

The stacked multiplier was 1x in 85.03% of hands; 3x was the most common boost at 5.06%, and anything above 8x happened in well under 1% of hands.

A few features of that table are worth noticing. Multipliers of 3x outnumber 2x by a wide margin even though 2x is the smallest available, because 2x cards are rare in the virtual draw: a 2x card hit the winning hand in just 0.28% of hands, while 8x cards did so in 3.73%, 5x in 4.90%, 4x in 3.45% and 3x in 2.59%. The 6x line is two Lightning Cards stacking (2x and 3x) and it is rare for the same reason the 2x line is.

Stacking is where the big numbers come from, and it needs two or three Lightning Cards in the same winning hand. Two 8x cards give 64x; three give 512x, Evolution's stated ceiling, which we have not recorded. In 90 days nine hands paid 64x or more and one paid 128x or more: about one hand in 12,000, or roughly one such result every four or five days at 30 to 40 seconds per hand.

Why are all the biggest results Ties?

Because the Tie bet counts Lightning Cards in both hands and already pays 5:1, so a Tie is the only outcome where up to six physical cards can match the virtual draw and the base payout is large before any multiplier applies.

The five largest stacked multipliers of the last 90 days were all Ties: 192x on 2026-07-23, 80x on 2026-08-25, 72x on 2026-07-18, and 64x on both 2026-07-22 and 2026-07-27. A Player or Banker win can only stack the Lightning Cards inside its own two or three cards. A Tie stacks whatever landed on either side, so a 4x in the Player hand and an 8x in the Banker hand both count when the scores match, giving 32x on a bet that was already due 5:1.

Tie is still the worst of the three main bets. It wins 9.30% of the time and carries the same 20% fee. The 64x-plus results live in the intersection of a Tie, a Lightning hit and a stack of two or more cards, which is why there were nine of them in 111,328 hands. How often do pairs and naturals come up?

Player Pair occurred in 7.53% of hands and Banker Pair in 7.60% over the last 90 days, against 7.47% each in theory. A natural 8 or 9 appeared in at least one hand in 34.56% of hands.

Pair bets pay 9:1 and carry the 20% fee like every other bet. A pair means the first two cards of a hand share a rank, roughly one hand in 13 with eight decks. In short windows the pair frequency panel swings a good deal; a 500-hand session with 50 pairs on one side is not remarkable, and neither is one with 25.

Naturals are shown for interest. An 8 or 9 on the first two cards ends the hand without a third card, so a natural winning hand has one fewer slot for a Lightning Card, which is one reason three-card stacks are so rare.

How does the drought tracker treat Ties and Lightning hits?

It counts hands since the last occurrence of each tracked event and shows it beside the average gap, so a wait of 20 hands without a Lightning hit reads as unusual but not rare.

The maths is simple for Lightning hits. The winning hand carried no Lightning Card in 85.06% of hands, so the chance of N consecutive dry hands is 0.8506 to the power N. Twenty in a row comes out at 3.9%. Thirty is around 0.8%. In a dataset of 287,800 hands, both happen regularly, and the drought panel's job is to put the current wait next to those figures so a dry patch does not feel like a broken game.

For Ties, at the observed 9.30% rate, runs of 30 or 40 hands without one are routine, and for pairs at about 7.5% each, gaps of 40 or 50 hands on one side are ordinary. None of these gaps changes the odds on the next hand. The shoe does not remember that it has not produced a Tie in a while, and the virtual deck that draws the Lightning Cards is reshuffled every round. The responsible gambling observatory tracks drought lengths across all our games for exactly this reason: long waits are a normal property of independent events, and treating them as a signal is how sessions run over budget.

How reliable is the data, and where does it stop?

The tracker is a faithful record of the official results feed, with the usual limits of a feed-based collector: occasional gaps, timestamps in UTC, and no view of how much money was staked on any hand.

Gaps first. A collector restart or feed outage leaves the missing hands missing rather than estimated, so a day's total can fall below the true number dealt. Gaps are random with respect to outcomes, so they do not tilt the long-run shares, but they can make a 24-hour window look quiet.

Second, the multiplier column, already mentioned: raw exports store the highest single Lightning Card multiplier that hit (max 8), and stacked figures are computed from the card lists. If you build your own analysis from an export, recompute the product yourself rather than trusting that column for stacked results.

No bet on this table beats the house edge. The 98.76% figure is a long-run average across every hand ever dealt, and a single session can land far from it in either direction. Set a loss limit before the first hand, stop when you reach it, and treat the tracker as a record of the past, which is the only thing it has ever been.
