Power Blackjack Rules
Complete rules guide covering the modified deck, power doubling mechanics, and all game procedures.
Basic Rules
- 1.The goal is to beat the dealer by getting closer to 21 without going over (busting)
- 2.Number cards (2-8) are worth face value, face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10, Aces are worth 1 or 11
- 3.Blackjack (Ace + 10-value card) pays 3:2
- 4.Dealer must hit on 16 or less and stand on 17 or more
- 5.Insurance pays 2:1 when dealer shows an Ace and has blackjack
Modified Deck Rules
Critical Difference
Power Blackjack uses 8 decks with ALL 9s and 10s removed. Each deck contains only 48 cards instead of the standard 52.

Power Doubling Rules
The signature feature of Power Blackjack - you can double down with enhanced multipliers:
2x Power Double
Standard double down
3x Power Double
Triple your original bet
4x Power Double
Quadruple your original bet
Rule: You can power double on any two initial cards. After power doubling, you receive exactly one more card and must stand.
Splitting Rules
- ✓You can split any pair of equal-value cards
- ✓Split hands can be re-split up to 3 times (4 hands total)
- ✓Power doubling is allowed after splitting
- ✗Split Aces receive only one card each
- ✗21 on split Aces counts as 21, not blackjack (pays 1:1)
Dealer Rules
HIT
On 16 or less
STAND
On 17 or more
- •Dealer peeks for blackjack when showing Ace or 10-value card
- •Dealer stands on all 17s (including soft 17)
