What is Power Blackjack?
Power Blackjack is an Evolution Gaming variant that combines classic blackjack with enhanced doubling options. Two key differences make it unique:
Power Doubling
Double with 2x, 3x, or 4x your bet - you choose!
Modified Deck
All 9s and 10s are removed from the cards.
The goal remains the same: beat the dealer by getting closer to 21 without going over.
Card Values
Remember: No 9s or 10s exist in Power Blackjack! Only A, 2-8, J, Q, K.
Your Options Each Hand
Request one more card to improve your hand total.
Stop taking cards and let the dealer play.
Multiply your bet, receive one more card, then stand automatically.
If you have two cards of the same value, split them into two hands.
Beginner Strategy Tips
Start with these simple rules:
Always stand on 17 or higher - You have a strong hand, don't risk busting.
Hit on 11 or less - You cannot bust, so always take another card.
Power double on 11 - Especially against dealer 2-6, use 3x or 4x.
Start with 2x doubles - Until you're comfortable, stick with conservative power doubles.
Never take insurance - It's a bad bet, always decline.
