How are Mega Numbers assigned?

Before betting closes, or immediately after, depending on the operator's interface, the game randomly selects up to eight of the wheel's 37 pockets and assigns each one a multiplier somewhere between 50x and 3,000x. Those numbers and their values are displayed before the ball is released, so every player can see the boosted numbers, but no further bets can be placed on them once betting has closed for that round.

What does a Mega Number actually pay?

A Mega Number only pays anything if the ball lands on it and you have a straight-up bet placed there. If that happens, your bet is paid the assigned multiplier, replacing the standard straight-up payout rather than adding to it, the same way the multiplier works on the original Mega Roulette. If the ball lands on a number that was not assigned a multiplier, straight-up bets on it pay the reduced base rate instead.
