The Push 22 rule is the house's compensation for offering free bets:
Take another card to increase your hand total
Keep your current hand and end your turn
Double your bet (or free on 9-11) and receive one card
Split pairs into two hands (free on non-10-value pairs)
Side bet when dealer shows Ace, pays 2:1
