What is Fortune Roulette and who makes it?

Fortune Roulette comes from Pragmatic Play Live, not Playtech and not Evolution, and was announced on 29 January 2025 as a game show built on a standard European roulette table. The wheel itself is the familiar single-zero layout, 0 through 36, run by a live dealer; the multiplier and bonus features sit in a software layer applied after each bet closes. Pragmatic has not published where the table is filmed, so this guide does not guess at a studio location.

The closest concept elsewhere on the site is Evolution's Lightning Roulette, which also attaches random multipliers to selected numbers, and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, Evolution's higher-volatility version with chained multipliers. Pragmatic's own Gold Vault Roulette is a second multiplier-number table from the same provider group, tracked on the same feed cutover date as Fortune Roulette. How does a round of Fortune Roulette play out?

Betting opens on the usual grid: straight up, split, street, corner, six line and the outside bets (red/black, odd/even, high/low, dozens, columns). Third-party trackers report an 18-second betting window; Pragmatic's own page does not print a figure, so treat that number as a rough guide rather than a confirmed rule.

Once betting closes, the game assigns special symbols to up to eight numbers before the wheel turns. Between one and six numbers receive a Fortune Multiplier, each worth up to 540x according to Pragmatic's rules; one number gets a Chest symbol; and one gets a Bonus Game symbol. The dealer then spins, and the outcome depends on which symbol, if any, sits on the pocket where the ball settles.

Land on a plain number and bets pay the table below. Land on a Fortune Multiplier number and inside bets on it collect the multiplier instead of the standard payout. Land on the Chest number and every Fortune Multiplier active on the board that round is combined and paid on inside bets, up to 3,240x on a straight up bet. Land on the Bonus Game number and the round pauses while the game moves to a separate slots feature.

What does each bet pay?

Inside bets pay less than a standard European table, because part of that payout funds the Fortune Multiplier and Chest features. Outside bets are unaffected and pay the usual odds.

The reduced inside-bet odds come from two independent third-party reviews rather than Pragmatic's own page, since Pragmatic does not publish a payout table for the game. How does the Chest feature work?

The Chest symbol lands on exactly one number each round. If the ball settles there, every Fortune Multiplier active on the board that round is added together and paid on inside bets that cover the Chest number: up to 3,240x on a straight up bet, up to 1,620x on split, street, corner or six line. If no Fortune Multipliers were drawn that round, or the ball lands somewhere else, the Chest pays nothing.

Our tracker does not separately flag whether a round's recorded multiplier came from a single Fortune Multiplier or a Chest combination; the multiplier field simply stores whatever value the feed reports for the winning number. That is one likely reason a handful of the largest values we have logged run above the 540x ceiling quoted for a single Fortune Multiplier: the highest multiplier recorded since 28 August 2026 is 1,284.00x, on number 26, on 4 September 2026. How does the Bonus Game work?

Landing the Bonus Game symbol sends the round to a 5x3 slots grid, separate from the roulette wheel and not covered by any roulette bet. It opens with 5 free spins. Collecting 3, 6 and then 9 Chest symbols on the slot reels adds 5 extra spins each time and steps up a progressive multiplier, from 2x to 5x to 10x. Pragmatic lists a maximum win of 9,000x from this feature. Our collector reads only the roulette results feed, so slot spins, free-spin counts and the progressive multiplier value are not part of what our tracker records.

What is the RTP of Fortune Roulette?

Outside bets return 97.30%, the figure printed in our game database and matched by independent third-party sources. Inside bets carry a different, lower RTP because part of their payout funds the Fortune Multiplier and Chest features; third-party reviews put the range at 95.07% to 97.30% depending on bet type, but Pragmatic has not published an official bet-by-bet breakdown, and this guide does not invent one. Our Fortune Roulette tracker reads casino.org's results feed, an aggregated live-table feed that covers tables from several providers rather than Pragmatic's own direct data channel. It has recorded 20,638 rounds between 28 August 2026, 08:55 UTC, and 8 September 2026, running at roughly 77 rounds an hour.

A Fortune Multiplier landed on the winning number in 2,606 of those rounds, 12.63%. When it did, the average paid multiplier was 16.04x and the median was a modest 1.00x, meaning most feature rounds carried a small value and the large ones are rare. Rounds paying 10x or more made up 12.63% of the total, 50x or more 9.84%, and 100x or more 4.42%. The five largest recorded were 1,284.00x (number 26, 4 September), 1,236.00x (33, 30 August), 1,104.00x (3, 4 September), 996.00x (1, 6 September) and 912.00x (7, 4 September).

Over the most recent 24 hours the tracker logged 1,824 rounds with an 11.46% feature rate and a top multiplier of 696.00x; the last 1,000 rounds show a similar 11.00% feature rate and the same 696.00x top value. Result distribution across all 37 pockets sat close to flat, from about 2.4% to 3.0% per number, which is the kind of scatter a fair 37-pocket wheel produces on its own across 20,638 spins, not evidence of bias in either direction. About 11 days and 20,638 rounds is enough to describe recent behaviour but far too little to confirm or challenge Pragmatic's published RTP figures.

One naming quirk worth flagging: the feed's round data includes a field called win_type, and on multiplier rounds it can read "LightningNumber", a label carried over from the schema casino.org built for Evolution's Lightning Roulette feed. Fortune Roulette is not an Evolution game and has no connection to Lightning Roulette beyond sharing this third-party feed's internal field name.

How long can a gap between features run?

The longest stretch without a Fortune Multiplier landing since 28 August 2026 was 67 rounds, under an hour of play at the table's pace. That is well within what a roughly 1-in-8 event produces over a couple of weeks. A gap that long describes what already happened; it says nothing about the next spin, and no number is "due" a feature because it has been quiet for a while.
