How to Play Mega Sic Bac: Bets, Timing and Table Layout

Mega Sic Bac plays out in three phases every round: bets down, dice roll, result paid, all inside about half a minute. Setting up: what you're looking at on the table

The felt has three main betting spots, Player, Banker and Tie, and a wider band of 21 side bets grouped as Doubles, Triples and Quads, each keyed to combinations across the four dice. Two shakers sit on the table, one holding the two Player dice and one holding the two Banker dice; both roll independently of each other but on the same countdown. A betting timer runs at the top of the interface and is the only clock you need to watch, since there is nothing to decide once it hits zero.

Step 1: Choose an operator and open the table

Step 2: Read the betting timer

The 1:1, 1:1 and 6:1 figures above come from casino review sites rather than a confirmed Pragmatic rules page, and the side-bet payout odds themselves have not surfaced on any source we could check, so treat this table as a shape of the bet spread rather than a certified paytable.

Stake limits are set by each operator rather than by Pragmatic directly. One review site reports a minimum bet around $0.10 and a maximum around $5,000 per spot, but we could not confirm those figures on a Pragmatic primary page either, so check the limits shown in your own client before you sit down, since they can vary by casino and currency.

Why Player and Banker split close to even, and Tie doesn't

It helps to know what you're actually betting on before the dice roll. Each side's two dice can add up to any total from 2 to 12, and because there are 36 equally likely combinations per die pair, the middle totals (6, 7, 8) come up far more often than the extremes (2, 12). With both sides drawing from that same 36-combination spread, there are 1,296 possible pairings of a Player total and a Banker total. Of those, 146 pairings land on a matching total, which works out to 11.27% of all pairings settling as a Tie. The remaining 1,150 split evenly between Player and Banker, since neither side's dice are treated any differently, giving each of them 575 of 1,296, or 44.37%.

That is the underlying shape you're betting into: Player and Banker sit close to a coin flip against each other, and Tie is the rarer, higher-paying outcome. Step 4: Wait through the betting close

Between the timer hitting zero and the dice settling, the software runs its Payout Booster check. Selected spots on the grid, which can include main bets or side bets, get marked with a multiplier above the base payout. This step happens automatically and takes only a moment; it is not something you request or influence.

Step 5: Watch both shakers roll

The Player shaker and Banker shaker fire at the same time, each rolling its two dice. Because they run in parallel rather than in sequence, there is no draw order or third-card rule to track, unlike card baccarat; the result comes down to simple addition on both sides.

Step 6: Read the result

Each side's two dice are added together. Whichever total is higher wins the round for that side; if both totals match, the round settles as a Tie. Pragmatic states rounds average under 30 seconds from the roll to the result being shown, so there is little dead air between the dice stopping and the payout appearing.

Step 7: Collect your payout

Winning bets pay automatically. If your winning bet happened to sit on a spot the Payout Booster marked earlier in the round, it pays the boosted rate instead of the base one; if not, it pays the standard rate shown in the table above. A losing bet returns nothing. We could not confirm from any source exactly how a Tie result settles Player and Banker stakes on this table, whether they are returned in full, partially reduced or lost outright, so check your operator's own help screen for that detail rather than assuming it matches a different dice-baccarat game you may have played.

Numbers make the difference between a base payout and a boosted one concrete. Using the reported figures from the table above, and treating them as reported rather than certified:

The spread between a base win and a boosted win is far wider on Tie and the side bets than on Player or Banker, which fits a design where the booster adds most of its excitement to the rarer, higher-paying spots. Whether any given win lands boosted or not is not something you can see coming; it is decided during Step 4, before the dice ever settle.

What happens between rounds

The table resets almost immediately, the betting timer restarts, and any bets you placed the previous round are cleared from the grid; there is no carryover and no memory built into the table from one roll to the next.
